Bears vs 49ers Preview

on

bears vs 49ersThe Chicago Bears are set to travel to Levi’s stadium to take on the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday Night Football as the Bears are still seeking their 1st win of the year, while the 49ers look to play their 1st regular season game at their new stadium.

The Bears are set to enter this week having suffered a tough overtime loss at the hands of the Buffalo Bills at home in a season opening loss that was a heartbreaker for Bears fans everywhere. The 49ers beat the Dallas Cowboys last week by the score of 28-17 in a game that showed the potential of San Francisco to, once again, make a deep push to the playoffs.

The Chicago Bears, who enjoyed a reasonable amount of success moving the ball last week, fell victim to having too many turnovers, with Jay Cutler throwing 2 interceptions and Brandon Marshall losing a fumble. If the Bears want to have any hope of beating the 49ers on the road, they will have to keep the number of turnovers to a minimum, while also getting more takeaways defensively.

The 49ers are hoping to kick off their 1st regular season game at their new stadium with a big victory. The 49ers enjoyed mild success on the offensive side of the ball, but no single player had a particularly stellar statistical performance. If the 49ers are going to beat the Bears, they will have to force Cutler into making mistakes by disguising defensive coverages and getting pressure on him.

The line on this game favors the 49ers by 7 points while the over/under for the game is set at 49.

The Bears are going to put up a tougher test than the line indicates, but will ultimately fall short in the game. The 49ers win this one 28-24.
