Baltimore Ravens

NFL: Steelers vs Ravens Preview

on

Steelers vs RavensThe Pittsburgh Steelers are set to match up against the Baltimore Ravens in a game between division rivals. The Steelers will be seeking their 2nd win of the season on Thursday, while the Ravens will still be seeking their 1st win on the season.

The Steelers come into this game having won a close one against the Cleveland Browns on a last second field goal giving them the 30-27 edge in the opener. The Ravens are coming into this rivalry game having lost their opener in the division against the Cincinnati Bengals by a score of 23-16.

The Steelers are looking to continue their early success, although with a little less stress. The Ravens did beat the Browns, but the game was closer than the Steelers would have liked, and very nearly became yet another overtime game in opening week. The Steelers are going to need another big performance from LeVeon Bell, who racked up a solid 109 yards and a touchdown in the game.

The Ravens, again, are coming into this game without the services of running back Ray Rice, who, after further video evidence of a domestic violence incident emerged, has been released from the Ravens and faces an indefinite suspension from the NFL. The Ravens struggled already without the help of Rice against the Bengals, and are going to need a big performance from quarterback Joe Flacco if they hope to overcome the Steelers on Thursday.

The Ravens are favored in this game, with the line favoring Baltimore by 2.5. The over under for this game is set at 44.5 for the entire game.

While the Ravens are favored to win this game, I think the Steelers will be able to pull out a close one on the road, beating the Ravens 21-17.
