Don is a veteran sportswriter having covered all sports for more than 30 years. He began his journalism “career” on a school newspaper as a youth. He has been published on numerous sports websites and publications.

He has been told that his writing style is direct since his days in college. It’s not something that he will likely change.

David Campbell – Staff Writer

David makes his home in Guatemala and follows the worlds greatest game, soccer from there. David contributes on all leagues across the world and had over 25 years experience. He has covered 10 World Cups and will do so again this year in Brazil.

David will also cover other sports for FanGenius.com including baseball , American football and basketball.

Grant Hamersma – Staff Writer

Grant is a student at the University of Florida where he majors in law. He has an unparalleled passion for all sports, but baseball is his true love, followed by NFL football and the Chicago Bears.

Grant covers breaking baseball news combined with his own spin.

Grant makes his home in St.Petersburg Florida when he’s not on campus in Gainesville.

Mark West – Staff Writer 

Mark West grew up playing and loving baseball. In college, he found an interest in writing and reporting on sports. He graduated from Arkansas State University in 1999 with a Bachelor of Science in Radio and Television Broadcasting with a News emphasis and a minor in Political Science.

Mark began writing a few years ago informally about politics and sports on various blogs, but has focused primarily on baseball writing for the last two years. He loves Arkansas State Red Wolves baseball and writes about the games and the players for the Red Wolves and the Sun Belt Conference.

Mark is a member of the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association, giving him official votes in the Dick Howser Trophy, Regional Players of the Year, and NCBWA All-America voting.
