Dallas Cowboys vs St. Louis Rams: Live Stream, Preview, Updates

cowboys vs titansThe Dallas Cowboys travel to St. Louis to take on the Rams this week, relieved that Tony Romo was able to get on somewhat track last week in a 26-10 win over the Tennessee Titans.

DeMarco Murray led the way with 167 yards on the ground on 29 carries and the Cowboys will need more of that to beat St. Louis.

“I think we ran the ball a lot of different ways against a good defensive front, but certainly when DeMarco had the ball in his hands, he was a dominant runner,” coach Jason Garrett said. “There’s no question in my mind about that.”

The Cowboys offense of line will have a challenge handling the Rams defensive front. Romo has been sacked seven times this season.

“When you can have more of a balance, which means that you’re not sitting there with a highway show of passes for Romo, then I think we’re seeing you have a better chance for your defense to be more effective, play less plays, better field position,” Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said.

The Rams meanwhile are coming off a 19-17 win over Tampa Bay but are vulnerable to the run. Tampa Bay’s Bobby Rainey had 144 yards last week.

“We’re not where we need to be in run defense,” coach Jeff Fisher said. “We’re going to really be tested this week. We gotta get better there. We missed too many tackles, had some run misfits.”

The Rams will go with Shaun Hill if he is healthy at quarterback, but if not will turn to rookie Austin Davis who was 22 of 29 for 235 yards in his first career start last weekend.

Dallas star receiver Dez Bryant (shoulder) is questionable after being limited in practice this week

Look for Dallas to get their second win of the season.
